Very helpful info. Maps and advice available. Only issue: the person at the counter did not speak English. We had to try our best German :-)

Beautiful nature

Clean water and nice swimming spots. The "sinnespfad" from the far sinde of the dam is a really good walk.

A miniature inland sea

If you like freshwater bathing then this would make the perfect inland resort. Its several hundred yards wide and a mile or so long. There's an old steamer going up and down too. Plenty of grass areas...
