When I headed from the Adachi Museum of Art to Yaegaki Shrine, it was just along the route, so I stopped by. There are major burial mounds such as the largest Yamashiro Futakozuka Kofun tumulus (front and rear burial mounds), which is the birthplace of Izumo culture. There is also a village nearby where you can learn Izumo culture, so you may want to go there as well.
It is really recommended to rent a free bicycle and go around the fudoki hill.

I didn't have much time and the weather was light rain, so I decided to visit the exhibition room of the learning hall and look around from the roof of the learning hall. The entrance fee to the learning hall is 200 yen. In the exhibition room, there was a model of "Ou" in the center of ancient Izumo, and it was interesting to see materials related to Fudoki and haniwa. I was most impressed by its weight. Still, around the fudoki hill, Izumo Kokufu ruins, God ...
I stopped by before going to the center of Matsue city. There is an exhibition hall with a wide 々 hill dotted with tumuli and a color 々 material. There are quite a wide range of tumuli and historic sites. An ancient residence was restored near the exhibition learning hall.
It is the center of ancient Izumo culture that extends to the southeastern part of Matsue City. There are many burial mounds, including the Okadayama Kofun, and at the Fudoki Oka Center, haniwa, large swords, and excavated items from this area are exhibited. Near the center, a restored ancient medieval residence was also built, and you could go inside and experience them.
It is an exhibition hall that exhibits cultural properties such as haniwa excavated from the tumulus. You can shoot the exhibits in the hall without using the flash. You can enjoy the admission fee cheaply.
