Even on a windy day it was calm behind the sandspit. It's a pleasant walk along the beach to the dredge at the end and we then returned along the neighbouring road.

A lovely beach protected by the long sandspit.

Our wee girl aged 2 absolutely loved this beach. Beautiful spot for a swim, family friendly!! Highly recommended
