Huangwei Mountain

Located 30 kilometers southeast of Lingchuan County. Huangwei Mountain is about 20 kilometers long, with the main peak at an altitude of 1,447 meters. It is majestic and beautiful, with a solitary peak piercing the sky. From the top, you can see the Yellow River. Looking at Huangwei Lingqiu, the Zushi Peak is mainly Taoist temples, while the Tianqiao and the palace are mainly natural caves and Buddhist temples. Buddhism and Taoism merge, and the Taoist atmosphere is strong.

There is a big cave in the mountain and two small holes on the mountainside, from which you can reach the main peak Zushiding. This is "Huangwei Lingqiu", one of the eight famous scenic spots in Lingchuan. The entire Huangwei Lingqiu consists of three parts: the palace, the sky bridge and the top temple.

Huangwei Palace is backed by mountains and faces valleys. It faces south and is divided into two palaces, upper and lower. There are more than 60 palaces in total. The Sutra Library in the upper palace has three eaves. There is a Lingqiu Cave in the lower palace. The height and width of the cave entrance are 2.5 meters respectively. There are two auxiliary rooms on both sides of the cave entrance, which are 2.5 meters wide, 3.5 meters long and 2.5 meters high. The cave is 500 meters long, 26.2 meters wide, and has a total area of ​​13,100 square meters. There are stalactites formed by long-term dripping in the cave. There are three stone sculptures at the entrance of the cave, which are majestic and scary, adding a bit of mystery to Lingqiu Cave. Going up along the narrow path of the Sutra Palace, you can reach two small holes on the mountainside, like two rounds of bright moons hanging across the mountain. This is the "Sky Bridge". The main buildings are the Grandma Hall and the Ten Kings Hall, which are built on the bridge and under the bridge respectively. After climbing for several miles over the sky bridge and then climbing 183 gray brick steps, you will reach Zushiding, where the Ding Temple is built. The main buildings include Zhenwu Zushi Hall, Yuhuang Hall and auxiliary halls.
