Tongming Mountain

Tongming Mountain is located in Xiabahui Township, Liaoyang County. It is one of the nine hundred and ninety-nine lotus peaks in the Qianshan Mountains. The green pines on the mountain are shaded, the rocks are treacherous, and the cliffs are steep, which is the intention of nature's creation. On the edge of the cliff and the river, the groves are cited, the moss is stripped, and the wild flowers and herbs are not indexable. Surrounded by the foothills, there are contiguous Nanguo pear trees, which are generally green. In the first ten days of May, pear blossoms are in full bloom, and a sea of snow is dotted among the green mountains and forests; in August, the pears are ripe, yellow and reddish, and the trees are full of trees, and the fragrance is always enticing. A peak rises from the sky, and Dou Jue stands on the top of Wan Ren. Looking from a distance, strange Wei Phili, green hills and green hills (mountain offerings), misty clouds, and Yanxiu is in the presence or absence of light and extinction. On the north top of the peak, there is a narrow feldspar hole, looking down from the mountain, about 4 meters in length, suddenly between the peaks and ridges, revealing a line of blue sky. When the sun sets, the sunlight passes through it and shoots obliquely to the temple in the mountain. According to the people who have climbed the mountain, the hole can be passed by carriages and horses. It is said that Xue Rengui, a general of the Tang Dynasty, shot through it with an arrow. There is a folk song: "Shoushan supports a hand, Anshan mounts a horse. Qianshan shoots an arrow, and an arrow hits the south coast." The rumors are grotesque. But people don't care whether it's true or false, so they call this mountain a cave mountain. Later, it was renamed Tongming Mountain.
