Museum Radya Pustaka menyimpan beragam koleksi penting. Koleksi-koleksi itu terdiri atas buku-buku kuno, manuskrip atau naskah kuno, pusaka adat, arca-arca, dan benda atau perkakas kuno. Ikon utama dari museum ini adalah patung Raden Ronggowarsito yang merupakan seorang Pujangga Kraton Surakarta dari abad ke-19.
