PRETTY WALK

We enjoyed a walk along the canal on a hot day but found some shade as well. Not a difficult walk plus there are some benches to sit on.

We walked along this canal a few times whilst in Lalinde. Plenty of fishermen enjoying a quiet afternoon in the sun.

A slice of (recent) history

Anyone with an interest in waterways will like this. Impressive engineering in order to allow river cargo boats to bypass a treacherous stretch of the Dordogne. Its also a pretty cool place to walk.....
