several differnet venues...open space, picnic grounds , flowing stream, clean restrooms, grounds are well kept and litter free, hiking trail and exercise spots.. ive seen family gatherings and weddings.. the place is OUTSTANDING!

Loved the view at the top of the park is amazing , very relaxing, awesome for hiking and meditating, also great for picnic :)

Very spacious, but secluded park. I live down the street so my dog and I frequent. My boyfriend and I also went hiking and had a picnic near the pond. Nice place to exercise or throw a party due to the large grassy area. Parking is free on weekdays.

A 380-acre park that offers a panorama of the entire Los Angeles Basin, including nearby working oil wells, the Pacific Ocean and close but not in earshot planes landing at LAX. There is a lovely, small lake with a well-designed, artificial stream, walking trails and picnic areas. The views provide a less publicized but still impressive panorama of Los Angeles looking towards the Getty and the Griffith Observatory instead of viewing the basin from those locations.
