Three Sisters walk

Long ago, three beautiful sisters fell in love with three brothers of another tribe downhill at the same time. They were not approved by their fathers and set off a war between the two communities. After the witches turned them into rocky cliffs on the mountain, the witches were killed, leaving the three sister peaks of the valley guarded and never returning, thus avoiding countless worldly troubles and watching the Blue Mountains from generation to generation.

Lookout point allows full view of the three sisters and there is a short trail to one of the sisters. the trail has staircases and steps, not very steep but for elderly with poor knees it might be an issue.

Blue Mountain Park is located in the western suburbs of Sydney and it takes more than an hour to drive there. The park is actually free, but you have to take the cable car to get in. There are three cable cars that drive to different attractions. One of the most famous attractions of the Three Sisters Peak is actually the three boulders standing on the top of the mountain, which can be seen from a distance. It takes some footpower to walk from the cable car station, and the construction can be seen from a distance.
