Guangji Monastery

Guangji Temple and Jinzhou Museum can visit Guangji Temple together for 20 yuan. Tickets are sold at the door. The ticket office can be stamped with 3 chapters. Jinzhou Museum is free. The service desk can be stamped with 2 chapters. Both places have to bring their own stamp.

＂ Guangji Temple ＂ is located in Jinzhou Ancient Tower Park. It was founded in the seven years of Yuan Daye (611 AD). The original name is Puji Temple. It was rebuilt in the Qingning years of Liaoning (1055 ～ 1064). After many maintenances in the Ming and Qing dynasties, most of the existing buildings were built during the Ming and Qing dynasties. ＂ Guangji Temple ＂ is the oldest and complete temple complex in Liaoxi Province. It is well preserved and rare in China. The temple is built with the tower as the axis, and there are Temple of Heavenly Kings, Guandi Temple, and Daxiong Temple. ＂ Guangji Temple Building Group ＂ is based on ＂ Guangji Temple ＂, including ＂ Guangji Temple ＂ built in Liaoqingning three years (1057), ＂ Tianhou Temple (Mazu Temple) ＂ and qing Guangxu 24 years (1898) in the northern region founded in Qinghuizheng three years (1725) In honor of the sacrifices of the soldiers in the Sino-Japanese War, Zhaozhongxuan was built.

Guangji Temple Tower, a landmark building in Jinzhou, was recorded to be built in Qingning, Liaoning for three years (1057). The tower is an octagonal 13-story dense brick tower with a residual height of 53.11 meters. After maintenance, it is the tallest ancient building in Liaoxi. At present, the tower courtyard is not open, but you can also enjoy the majestic posture of this ancient tower outside the courtyard. In addition to the ancient tower, there is a large-scale ancient complex next to Guangji Temple, and there are buildings such as the Tianhou Palace, Guandi Temple icon, Zhaozhongxuan, etc., mostly built in the Qing Dynasty.

Guangji Temple is one of the famous ancient temples in Beijing, located in Xicheng District, is now the seat of the Chinese Buddhist Association.
