There is a mountain on the banks of the Changjiang River in the north of Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province. It is called Shidai Mountain, commonly known as Shizuitou. Looking from a distance, the halls of the Guanyin Temple with red walls and red tiles are located in the shade of green trees, like crystal rubies inlaid into a huge jasper, which complement each other. According to historical records, the Guanyin Pavilion, which was originally a famous place here, was built in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. In its heyday, there were five halls, three pavilions and two pavilions. Frequently, the incense is extremely prosperous. In addition, it is adjacent to the Changjiang River in the west and Shidai Mountain in the east. The pines and pines form a forest on the mountain, and the four seasons are evergreen. The blue waves in the river are rippling, and the sails are dotted. It was a major scenic spot in Jingdezhen at that time. Fuliang County records: "Guanyin Pavilion, in Shizuitou, is a beautiful place for poets and writers to recite paintings. Tang Ying, the superintendent of pottery, stayed here, and there are many poems as records." In the early days of liberation, because of Due to many reasons such as urban construction and road construction, the Guanyin Pavilion has been destroyed in eight or nine times. Although the Guanyin Temple on the mountainside survived, it was also abandoned due to the emergence of monks and nuns, and it fell into disrepair. In 1990, Venerable Master Kuanwang, a monk in the Yangfu Temple, a thousand-year-old temple in Jingdezhen, confirmed that this place is a place for self-cultivation and self-cultivation. Wujie laymen Kuang Damao, Yang Shenglian and others immediately raised several thousand yuan to buy 50 square meters of land and built a hut, named Guanyin Temple, only for Master Kuanwang to practice meditation. In 1999, the audience was sincerely invited by the lay Buddhists, and Master Yue Zang, secretary-general of the Jiuhua Mountain Buddhist Association, came to the monastery to serve as the abbot. Because Master Yuezang devoutly protects the temple and devotes himself to the Buddha, the Buddhist service of Guanyin Temple is becoming more and more popular, and the incense is flourishing day by day. In February 1995, Master Yue Zang poured his life savings of more than 10,000 yuan, and the lay Buddhists donated more than 40,000 yuan to rebuild a 200-square-meter Dabei Hall, with seven new Buddha statues and a large number of instruments purchased. . Immediately afterwards, the Three Holy Temples were built, and more than 20 large halls and dormitories were newly built. During the Guanyin Dharma Conference, the bells and drums are beaten, the Buddha is recited and the sutras are recited. At the end of 1997, the Master knew that he was about to die, and in order to complete his work, he held a grand ceremony for the consecration of a full set of Buddha statues at Guanyin Temple. Due to the strong protection of the Dharma by the four groups of laymen, the management of the Guanyin Temple has been gradually standardized, and the order of activities has become increasingly orderly. Go and see it here. It’s too inconvenient to take a taxi. It’s a few kilometers away, but it’s really good. The temple gate is too small. Going inside the mountain is very big. The incense is so strong. I’m lucky and I’m still lucky. Draw a big sign.
Really nice attraction😀
Guanyin Pavilion is located on the east side of the original rolling flower factory in the small south gate of the city. The original ancient temple was built before Song Dynasty. The temple gate was embedded with the stone inscription of Xianglin Ancient Temple. The temple hall has been renamed many times, and the ancient Xianglin Temple has been changed to Xianglin Temple.
The environment is quiet and the air is fresh, it is worth a visit.
