I headed toward Hachimangu from the north exit of Iwaki Station. On the way, when I was told to go on the road next to the national highway, it was a slope called Nagasaka. On the left side, I climbed the elementary school and the slope and passed by the legal judge's office, and I saw a vermilion torii gate on the right side. It is about １０ minutes walk from the station. It is an old and venerable shrine that started when soliciting Iwashimizu Hachiman in Kyoto and praying for victory during the subjugation of Oshu in the Heian period. About 10 minutes on foot from the ruins of Iwaki Heijo. It is located in a residential area. There is a large vermilion torii gate and a stone-making drum bridge. An old shrine that started when Iwakimizu Hachiman in Kyoto was promoted to the land of Iwaki in the Heian period. You can see a magnificent shrine with a long history in the precincts.
