It is a facility built next to the roadside station. At first glance, it looks new, but the transition of the building is unpredictable from the current appearance.
"Former Wakayama Prefectural Assembly Building" is very close to Negoroji Temple, which is famous for its "Oto". It stands on a large road and stands out. It is a beautiful and stunning building.
I bought a common ticket with Negoroji for 500 yen. You can learn about the history of Wakayama prefectural government and the great people of Wakayama Prefecture, as well as the history of the relocation of the building. If you plan to go to Negoroji Temple, a common ticket is recommended.
Development has progressed around this area since the Iwade Negoro Interchange on the Keinawa Expressway was built. It's close to Negoroji Temple and it's a good place to create cultural facilities. The former Wakayama Prefectural Assembly Building has recently been relocated. Is the roadside station under construction next door and it will be busy from now on? It is unusual for government facilities to close on Tuesday and the visit day was closed.
