Temple Street was recorded on the Kowloon map of 1887. Temple Street was divided into two sections, bounded by the Temple of Tin Hau Temple in Yau Ma Tei, and a section north of Temple Street was called Temple North Street and a section south of Temple South Street. Since the 1920s, the square opposite the Tianhou Temple (commonly known as the "Eel Tree Head") began to develop into a large-scale leisure venue, which led to the existence of many sundries and snack stalls near Temple Street.

Very worth a visit.

Yau Ma Tei Temple Street is one of the popular places for tourists to check in. Its brand flat stands in the downtown area, there are many stalls for sale, more divination stalls, and Yushutou Park for tourists to rest, and the Tianhou Temple in the park is one of the landmarks.

When the sun sets, the lights come on and the market bursts into action... Temple Street night market is perhaps the most diverse, vibrant and exciting place in Hong Kong.
