Wusutuzhao Temples

Wusutuzhao is located about ten kilometers northwest of Hohhot City, which is also the southern foot of Daqingshan Mountain. The former Great Wall of Zhaoguo also passes here. Wusutuzhao does not refer to a temple, but the general name of seven temples. At present, only four remain, centered on Qingyuan Temple.

Wusutu Zhao, in fact, refers to the general name of the seven temples in the local area. Because they are not far away, adjacent to each other, and located next to Wusutu Village, they are collectively called Wusutu Zhao, Wusutu Zhao is built on the mountain. There used to be seven temples, centered on Qingyuan Temple. There is Changshou Temple in the east, Tea House Temple in the west, Fayu Temple in the northeast, and Yaowang Temple in the northwest. There is Luohan Temple in the north, and there is a Facheng Guangshou Temple in the north, which together form a temple group. Wusutu was built in the Ming and Qing generations. The temple architecture blends Mongolian, Tibetan and Han art into one. But from the perspective of architectural form and structural characteristics, there are differences in the same, each has its own characteristics, forming each temple's own unique style.

Wusutu Zhao is mainly composed of five monasteries of Qingyuan Temple, Fayu Temple, Changshou Temple, Guangshou Temple and Luohan Temple. Wusutu Zhao is its total name. Five monasteries are not far apart, adjacent to each other, and the architecture is magnificent and unique. It is a temple built by Mongolian craftsmen. Backed by the Daqingshan Mountain, the environment is quiet, the scenery is pleasant, and there is no charge, it is worth a visit!

I went to Wusutu at noon today, but I ate a closed door, and no door was open. There are tourists in Harbin and Yunnan in the parking lot. Everyone is disappointed!

Hohhot City is a city with a deep historical heritage and a prominent position in history. I came to Hohhot for a few days. I went to visit Wusutu. The distance was a bit far. It took more than 30 yuan to take a taxi from the hotel. In the big green hills behind Wusutu, there was a saffron apricot forest, which made our eyes shine. It was worth the fare.
