多摩動物公園駅からすぐ。 入館料は310円。入館券は駅に設置してあるような券売機で購入するようになっている。館内に展示してある鉄道関連資料やパネル解説はごくわずか。大部分は鉄道模型のジオラマや運転体験ができるシミュレーターなどで、子どもの遊び場と化している。大人の見学に耐えうるのは、屋外に展示してある京王線・井の頭線の古い車両だけであろう。
