I visited the Shinshu Otani school temple in a corner of a residential area for the first time in a while. The mountain gate faces the road on the north side, but the gate on the south side is also open, and as soon as you proceed to the precincts from here, it became the main hall. By the way, "Higashiyama Yaki lantern" stood in the precincts, and pottery lanterns different from stone lanterns stood out.
The surrounding area is a temple of the Shinshu Otani school in a corner where houses are lined up. A corner surrounded by a fence is a mountain gate, and the temple sign that doubles as a nameplate is written as "Shinshu Otani School Higashiokayama Saigenji". The main hall was placed mainly in the precincts. There was also a letter of origin by the Himeji City Board of Education, and it was maintained so that tourists could understand it well.
