European cemeteries are charming places of eternal rest
Many well know people are buried in the Heidelberg Friedhof . German sociologist, lawyer and writer Maximilian Karl Emil Weber is just one of them but he is the reason why so many visit this cemetery....
The Cemetery is well maintained, it is quite, a lot of trees and plants. The place is so clean and so calm and really reflect a place where one will rest in peace.
Max Weber’s books inspired me a lot, so I had to visit. Beautiful and peaceful place. 15-20 minutes walk from the Heidelberg Hbf or 7 minutes train ride (2.50 euro one way). Look for 52 for his grave....
Good place for a nice and quiet walk - not a tourist place, except if your are a fan of Max Weber (in this case, you can pay tribute to his headstone).
Walk through the German and European history and private familiar places. Don't miss the jewish part. It wasn't easy for former administrative employees to keep it through the German horrable times 19...
