Probably the ideal base for cruise ships, but for those who go to the cinema and eat, it lacks the atmosphere. Compared to James Street, didn’t like the movie at all, and struggled to find a fun restaurant.

A cruise ship dock off Hercules Street. The cruise ship terminal has plenty of places to eat and drink as well as a clean and safe area to walk around. There's also a cinema and shops.

We recently did two cruises from here, and found that right outside the cruise terminal is a great little shopping and dining area a few steps away. The wine shop has some great specials and you are allowed to bring two bottles on board per double occupancy cabin. It was convenient and a nice walk along the wharf as well.
Cruise Ship terminalLots of dining options and last minute shopping before boarding the cruise. Everything from wine, to lanyards to shade and air conditioning to beat the heat. Easy drop off at the cruise terminal and a clean, safe area to walk around. Pre-boarding breakfast at Mariners was delicious and great service.
Take citycat. The natural landscape is beautiful all the way!
