One hour from Takao
For the enthusiastic.. This is about an hour from top of Mount Takao. Not touristy unlike Takao... It was very quiet with barely a handful of people when I went there and I understand it's generally...
I have hiked through this pass dozens of times on my way to other hiking destinations in the area. I usually come from the canyon road trail head that breaks off from the 20, but you can get here from...
Go up from the Kobutsu bus stop for about 15 minutes, turn left at Kobutsu Pass to Shiroyama. There are two teahouses on your back. You can eat curry, oden, oshiruko, etc. There is also a toilet, but it is often discontinued.
It was "Kobutsu Jozan" that I passed when I hiked 20 kilometers from Mt. Jinma to Mt. Takao. Flower 々 was a good feeling.

It was "Kobutsu Jozan" that I passed when I hiked 20 kilometers from Mt. Jinma to Mt. Takao. Flower 々 was a good feeling. Jinma Plateau → Jinma Mountain → Myo Pass → Doshozan → Keishin Mountain → Kobutsu Pass → Kobutsu Jozan. It rained on the way, but if you come here, you'll have another breath. This "Kobutsu Jozan" has a lot of flowers 々 planted and it feels very good. It's beautiful. Also, you can see the cherry blossoms scattered in the green mountain 々 in "Kageshinzan" up close. Good feeling ...
It is a mountain that arrives by a 1-hour hike from Mt. Takao. The branch is Tokyo in the east and Kanagawa in the west. The teahouses have arrived at the top of the mountain and you can't see the ground, but the view of Mt. Fuji and Lake Sagami is wonderful. It is a mountain worth the hard work.
