It is a memorial tower in Kazukodai Park in Ginowan City. This time, I stopped by for the first time. The area where this memorial tower is located has become the place of the battle of Kazu, one of the fierce battles during the Battle of Okinawa. Many of the officers and soldiers who participated in the Battle of Kazu were from Kyoto and many were killed in the war, so the tower of Kyoto was built here.

It is a memorial tower quietly at the foot of the observatory of Kazukodai Park, and as the name suggests, it is a memorial tower set up for the purpose of memorializing soldiers from Kyoto to Kazu, which became a fierce battlefield.
