Tzu Chi Palace is a more eye-catching ancestral residence on the old street of George Town, Penang, next to Ye's Ancestral Hall. Going during the Spring Festival to catch up with people's sacrifices is very lively. On the first day, they burned paper money on the street, and it was spectacular. They placed paper money in the large iron circle of 1.5 meters directly, and then burned it together. It was so hot that they felt the heat wave. On the third day, they passed by here again, and it was more lively. Zongyuli sacrificed his ancestors and was doing a Taochang. In addition to the full set of roast pigs, chickens, fish, etc., there are countless local specialty snacks and fruits, the flowers are very beautiful, and there are several tables of dozens of square meters, quite spread. I have difficulty seeing such a large-scale sacrifice in China, and I think these overseas Chinese have kept these traditions very well. Soon, there will be Taoists coming to practice, singing and playing, and it will not be lively. This Tzu Chi Palace is not big, but it is exquisite and worth stopping for a few minutes to enjoy.
