Wenyu Tai (Wenyu Platform)

Wenyoutai is one of the eight scenery of Gaoyou. During the Yuanfeng years of the Northern Song Dynasty, Gaoyou literati Qin Shaoyou and Wang Dingguo and Sun Yu Lao banqueted by Su Dongpo, and gathered on the high platform after the Taishan Temple to drink and taste poetry papers. It was a beautiful talk for a while. After that, the temple platform was called "Wenyoutai" and became a resort for students and literati to climb.

One of the eight scenic spots of ancient Qinyou was built in the Northern Song Dynasty in Taiping and Xingguo. It was originally Dongyue Temple (that is, Taishan Temple) because of Su Yu Gaoyou and the local township Xian Qinguan (Qin Shaoyou) Sun Jue Wanggonghui gathered in this drinking paper. ​

Although it is a winter trip, it is also worth a visit. The words and calligraphy of the Bachelor of the Mountain Mowei Yun Qin are worthy of praise. There are also good inscriptions of Su Yu, Huang Tingjian and Wu Changshuo, the environment is quiet, and the birdsong is beautiful.

Jiangsu Provincial Cultural and Insurance Unit, is rebuilt from the ancient Wenyoutai site. Only the stone inscriptions of poetry and literature are relics of the Qing Dynasty worth seeing. The price of 30 yuan for tickets is not low. There are not many points worth seeing. Tourists who don't like the inscription poems are not recommended to visit.

Literary ink guests like to play the piano and sing poetry to do paintings and so-called elegant things. Wenyoutai is where several cultural celebrities in the Song Dynasty do these things. The current Wenyoutai is built more like a Jiangnan garden. In addition to the rebuilt ancient Wenyoutai, the garden is turned around and spent some time. Huaigu is also elegant.
