Interesting insight into the d'Este rulers tombs
You need to know a little history to appreciate this, but very worthwhile. This convent was patronized by the d'Este Duchesses. Interesting for women's history.

You have to knock on the door and hope that the monastery's caretaker will let you in. We had no trouble and he let us take our time to visit.......it .helps if you speak some Italian as I do not thin...
