Accidental find was charming
I was staying at the Dunsmuir Hotel and suites, a crummy motel by the entrance to this park. I walked down the street and discovered it accidentally which added to the charm of the experience. I enjoy...
Nothing Special
Disappointed in this popular, littered area. Nice fishing hole, but heavily used. Work your way upriver for nicer access and cleaner access. Did not feel safe parking my car here.
Great fishing
Well maintained park. Good access to the Sacramento River. Trout fishing is excellent there.Picnic areas, restroom facility (port-o-let), ample parking.
Disappointing
Read great reviews about this place, the beauty and the fishing. We went there on our Dunsmuir trip, I was excited to go fishing. We parked our car, took a trail off to the right, ran into a homeless ...
Touring Dunsmuir
This was on the list of recommended places to see. The area is very beautiful and we are glad we included this stop.
