Lvshun Museum is located in the Sungou Scenic Area, Lvshunkou District, Dalian City, and is merged with the original Lvshun Zoo, Lvshun Botanical Garden and Lvshun Museum. The Lushun Museum was founded in 1917 as a historical and artistic museum in Dalian, formerly known as the "Guandong Dudu Mansion Manmeng Property Museum". It has been changed its name many times since. In 1945, it was taken over by the Soviet Union and the museum was named "Lushun Oriental Culture Museum". In early 1951, the Soviet side handed over the museum to the Chinese government and restored the name of the "Lushun Museum". Lushun Museum is an excellent modern building in the country, with nearly 100,000 pieces in the collection, and a considerable number of first- and second-level collections, including bronzeware, Xinjiang cultural relics, calligraphy and painting, and ceramics. In particular, there are a rare collection of foreign cultural relics, of which the Indian Vendra stone artwork is the only collection in China. The museum has bronze crafts, Korean, Japanese porcelain, Japanese paintings, foreign stamps and Dalian local cultural relics (Dalian ancient civilization) exhibition hall.

The Lushun Museum is located at 42 Lenin Street, Lushunkou District, Dalian. It was built in 1917 and is now a national-level museum. The museum has more than 60,000 cultural relics in its collection, of which more than 200 cultural relics are from the first-level. The exhibits include cultural relics from the Stone Age, Bronze Age and the Suijin Age.
