Tokawa Mini Local Museum (free) The history of Tokawa and each exhibit will be carefully explained with choshi dialect, but there are plenty of seafood souvenirs.
A museum operated by a fish wholesaler's mother. The skill to change the content of the guide by looking at the state of the visitors is amazing. I'm sorry to have taken a lot of time to guide you even though it's free. It is essential to know the history of Tokawa and choshi
A valuable tourist spot near Tokawa Station. 8/11 (Sat) visited the museum after 12 o'clock, but unfortunately it was closed. Maybe it was Obon holiday.
It is a small museum near Tokawa Station. When I rang the bell outside and entered, the person in charge welcomed me and explained carefully. It is a quiet village now, but in the past it was a very crowded place with many people and a good economy.
It is right next to Tokawa Station of Choshi Electric Railway. It is said that a part of Shimanaga Fisheries was made into a museum. The director, Mr. Shimada, will be polite or enthusiastic about the history of Tokawa and Choshi and the exhibits. It's more like receiving a lecture from the director than a museum tour. It's also a study and interesting, so I recommend it.
