While looking for this garden, look for something to play for free with Sydney kids. It's a thoughtful entertainment venue in central Sydney (Centennial Park) just a minute's drive from the CBD. Adults be careful because they are low and you will have to bow your head through the Banksia tunnel, but there is an alternative route around. I imagined a dedicated water game area that looked like bedrock in flint cartoons, but the water was currently closed due to water restrictions and bushfires. There's a slide and wooden footbridge, and more tunnels, a shady picnic area and an ice cream van (of course) or at least one in January. There's also a toilet block and a mobile toilet. I am very impressed and I am sure our family of four, aged 7 and 11, will visit again.

Centennial Memorial Park (Centennial Park) provides home for this gem, the "green space" in the green space. The family is the ideal place to stop and spend time in this unique playground. Water is a feeling for the moment when children are running up and down. Ice cream van is a good idea. Highly recommended.
