Carcross Desert

The Cacros Desert in Yukon, Canada, is called the world's smallest desert, but it is actually a series of dunes formed by wind and sand. The climate in Yukon is too humid to count as a desert, and therefore the area is small.

At 60° north latitude, the famous gold rush town of Cacross, Canada, has one of the world's smallest deserts, but this only 600 meters wide Cacross desert, but rich in gold, for the local indigenous people, has been still a mystery.
