Gellert Hill and Statue

The Gellert Hill is located on the Buda side of Budapest, close to the Danube, so it is the best place to see the Danube from a distance, and you can also see the Buda Palace and the city view on the side of Pace. The World Heritage site's logo for the city of Budapest is also on the hilltop facing the side of the Buda Palace, where the statue refers to the statue of the Statue of Liberty on the top of the mountain.

The Gatler Mountain is connected to the Freedom Mountain, and the Freedom Bridge is directly below to the Central Market. There are Gatler Hot Springs and the Cave Church in the cave, and then climb up to the Statue of Liberty in Hungary. The view is pleasant.

The hills on the West Bank of the Danube River stretch from Chain Bridge to Freedom Bridge downstream, near Freedom Bridge and Elizabeth Bridge. Although the hills near Freedom Bridge and Elizabeth Bridge are few in the magnificent scenic spots of castles and churches, the Statue of Liberty on the vegetated hills is quite striking. Geithner is the highest point on the side of Buda in Budapest. There is a statue of the Statue of Liberty on the hill in memory of the liberation of Hungary by the Soviet Red Army. Later, due to ideological changes, the Soviet Red Army became an occupying force from the Liberation Army. The Statue of Liberty surrounding the Soviet Red Army was erased, but the statue remained. This scenic spot is relatively quiet and not many tourists come, but it is also good to have a view of Budapest on both sides of the Taiwan Strait.

Mount Gallert is right next to our hotel, Gallert Hotel. So the first stop after arriving in Budapest is here. Up to the top of the mountain, you can see Budapest. The middle Danube River divides it into left Budapest and right Budapest.
