It is a training ground for the former Japanese Army. Since it is large, there are parking lots in several places. There is a literary monument of Ayako Miura near the management office. There is a monument of Makisui Wakayama near the Harukodai distribution pond. On October 3, 大正15, makisui Wakayama took a walk on harukodai.

It is a park located a little north of Asahikawa city, so it is a park that is convenient to use a car. こちらの公園は、無料で様々なアクティビティーが楽しめます。公園は緩やかな丘となっており、森の中に長い遊歩道が 整備されています。遊歩道をゆっくり散策していくと、アクティビティーコーナーがあります。全て木製遊具で、全身大人でも楽しめます。 ただし、暖かくなると、虫（コバエ的なやつ）が大量発生しますので、虫除け対策は必須です！

眺望がよい

旭川の市の中心部から約5キロに位置している公園でながらかな丘に設けられたアスレチックなども出来る公園です。
