    Fabulous place!

    The museum is in the old part of town - a fabulous building and extremely interesting. We have returned to Angouleme on 3 separate occasions and always find something new to see.

    Forget the cathedral = come here!

    I was sad to find the facade of the cathedral in scaffolding - the whole point of going to Angouleme! The next door was a wonderful garden and the entrance to the museum. Very friendly and helpful sta...

    Museum mixes many things, archaeology, dinosaurs, fossils, and African and Oceanic art in the first floor; a pity that the plant of beautiful arts was closed.
