It was good, originally our room windows were open with lights on so lots of mosquitos inside, WiFi didn’t reach our room. That being said, they moved us to a room at the front & everything was great. The staff didn’t speak English so there was a language barrier, but we both did our best to talk to eachother 😂 all in all I would stay here again but only at a front located room!

I can say this place is good to stay if you are on budget. They give a good breakfast, location is walking distance to night market, Mekong riverside, restaurant, convenient store, they provide towel, shampoo and body soap, they serve good coffee and lobby where you can rest from long walk. Thanks to friendly Ms.Tian and her team.

Everything was fine, more than adequate, clean and comfortable. As others have said, the wood-paneled walls, though perhaps nice-looking, result in the room being rather dark (not much daylight gets in). Maybe in a hot season this is welcomed, but I missed the brighter. Even with the lights on, it felt dim (for this person anyway). But at this price, it's still probably one of the better deals available here, and with a pretty good location.
Although it wasn't listed on Google Maps, it wasn't hard to find. The staff were very kind and helpful. A 200,000 kip deposit was required. I was able to rent an electric scooter by leaving my passport. The room was clean and tidy, with no bugs, so I slept very comfortably. I'll definitely use this place again next time.
Facilities: It's a small standalone unit, with most of the essential facilities you'd expect.
Cleanliness: The blankets were very clean, but I guess the owner doesn't have much time to clean the public areas frequently.
Environment: Convenient surroundings, AB Mart supermarket is very close. Labuan is so small you can walk to anywhere you want to go within half an hour.
Service: The owner is Chinese, so communication was great. I had a pleasant stay.
The weather in Labuan was neither too cold nor too hot.
Staying in the tent was fine, apart from it being a bit noisy.

The water supply in Lebadi was not working properly, so I was not able to stay there and was guided to a hostel just a 2-minute walk away.
I had received a message in advance saying that I would be given a 100% refund because I couldn't stay there, but I didn't pay attention to that and just went straight to the hostel.
The quality of the alternative hostel was fine, and I got about 30% of my points back from Trip.com, so I was happy♪
I stayed in a bungalow in this friendly resort, in beautifully peaceful location on the Nam Ou river. The room was very comfortable, I had a great view and the food was excellent and inexpensive. Of the many services they offer I hired a bicycle and went on a fantastic day-long boat tour. Mr Wan and team went out of their way to ensure I had a great stay.

Highly recommend Luang Prabang Casa Hostel! ✅ Fantastic Location: 180 meters from the city center, 450 meters from the bamboo bridge, within walking distance of the night market and Mount Phousi, making it easy to explore the core attractions of the old city. A quiet oasis amidst the bustling city, perfect for a relaxing stay. ✅ Excellent Experience: Clean and brand-new rooms, free Wi-Fi throughout, a comfortable garden in the common areas, and a free weekly communal dinner for meeting people from all over the world. ✅ Superb Service: Friendly and professional staff who patiently answer travel questions and help plan routes. 24-hour front desk, laundry service, and a shared kitchen are all available. Perfect for solo travelers or groups, offering exceptional value for money – the top choice for accommodation in Luang Prabang!
Overall good. But it can be too hot at night time since there is no AC. And also be ready of the gecko noise at night, and some little insects in the room. Very helpful staff, and have good food too. They gave us free ticket for sunset cruise too. :)
Red Bridge Hostel – Luang Prabang
Bunun dışında her şey beklentimin üzerindeydi. Hem sosyal ortamı hem de konforu açısından Luang Prabang’da uygun fiyatlı ve samimi bir konaklama arayanlara gönül rahatlığıyla tavsiye edebilirim.

JJoseph MadrinanI booked a twin room and it didn’t disappoint, the bed was just the right level neither too hard nor too soft. They provide daily cleaning and fresh change of towels. The breakdast is plated and needs to be ordered the evening before. They have a good selection of baguette and choice of how you want your eggs, other Asian breakfast choices are also available like congee or rice noodles.
Do note that this property is on the other side of the Xanamkhan river from the heritage area, so it is a bit far from where the main attractions are. But, the guesthouse provides bicycles for rent. This location does offer some advantage, it is in a “locals” area so guests have access to a local market as well as restaurants that serve truly Lao cuisines and at very affordable prices.
The property owner is friendly and quite attentive to us guests, he always asks us if we have everything we need and if there is anything they can provide.
Considering all, if and when I’ll go back to Luang Prabang in the future, I will definitely consider staying here again.

Kks_teochewWe stayed for four nights at Kongkham Guesthouse in Luang Prabang, and overall, it offered excellent value for money.
Pros: The rooms are equipped with all the basic amenities, including air conditioning, a hot shower with a bidet spray, a kettle, a mini-fridge, as well as a standing fan and AC. Although the building is older, the room was clean and well-ventilated. The bed, while firm, was comfortable, and it came with a balcony overlooking the Mekong River, offering beautiful views. The guesthouse also provides a washing machine and simple cooking facilities. The host was a major highlight – warm, easygoing, and resourceful. He was able to help arrange local tours and even coordinated group bookings to split costs. He also proactively lent us an electric bike for short trips around town, a thoughtful gesture that left a strong impression.
Cons: Being an older building, the bathroom looked a bit dated. While generally clean, more attention to detail in both the rooms and common areas would enhance the overall feel.
Overall: This is an affordable accommodation with beautiful river views and a genuinely warm and helpful host. It's ideal for travelers who prioritize practicality, location, and a personal touch over a luxurious experience.

This place is really good for solo traveller or a backpackers. They have 1 room with 2 beds ( Superior Twin Room ) and it cost around $22 and Dormitory Type -8 /6 /4 Mixed and it cost around $6 per night.
I booked my room in Trip.Com with 1 room Superior Twin Room. This is 22 sqm room, beds are comfortable. Plugged outlet beside the beds . It has working table and a chair. Metal rack to hang the clothes. Wifi and a router available in the room , internet was not the best but as traveler must have your own internet data.
The area closed to Mekong river side - near to cafe and restaurants. Breakfast included so must choose to their menu. It is nearby the temple for tak bat/ alms giving and also the night market.
The lady receptionist is very accommodating and good customer service.
Overall 5/5 ...

SSeow Chu JieGood location near ro night and morning market. A good hotel room offers comfort, cleanliness, and thoughtful amenities that make guests feel relaxed and welcome. The bed is soft and inviting, with fresh linens and supportive pillows that ensure a restful night’s sleep. The room is well-lit and tastefully decorated, creating a calm and pleasant atmosphere. Modern facilities such as air conditioning, fast Wi-Fi, a television, and convenient charging outlets enhance the stay. The bathroom is spotless and stocked with quality toiletries and fluffy towels. Adequate storage space, a work desk, and a beautiful view from the window add to the overall experience, making the room both functional and enjoyable for travelers.

TTriptheuniverseThis hostel is a little bit outside of the small town centre, about 15 minutes walk. However it's totally worth it to do the extra km to stay there. The owner runs the place professionally, adhering to guest needs. For example, while I was there, he placed an extra padded mat, a sturdy looking thing, on mattresses to ensure a good night sleep for those who need a softer bed. Drinking water is provided and there is a well equipped kitchen for simple cooking such as boiling an egg. The place is thoroughly cleaned daily and there's a bonfire almost every evening. Staff are friendly and helpful. It's tremendously popular, so it's necessary to book in advance. Good value for short or long stay
