Shuanglin Temple, located in Yunhuang Mountain, Fotang Town, Yiwu, was built in Nanliang and was founded by the eminent monk Fu Dashi. After 15 centuries, it has become famous at home and abroad for its large scale and eminent monks. In the Northern Song Dynasty, there were more than 1,200 monastic houses and more than 2,000 monks and nuns. As early as the Tang and Song dynasties, there were Japanese monks who came to Shuanglin because of their fame. After the Yuan Dynasty, more Japanese monks came to Shuanglin Temple. Shuanglin monks also went to Japan to preach. However, due to historical reasons, Shuanglin Temple has been repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt for more than a thousand years. By 1997, the Mahavira Hall of Shuanglin Temple, which was 1.6 meters higher than Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou, had stood at the foot of Yunhuang Mountain. The solemn halls, vivid Buddha statues, and magnificent buildings are breathtaking. The Shuanglin Iron Pagoda by the Shuanglin Reservoir is still black and shiny despite thousands of years of wind and frost, which is truly amazing. Behind the Mahavira Hall, the stupa of the Great Master Shanhui Fu on the top of Yunhuang Mountain is towering into the clouds and has a unique style. Legend has it that after attaining Taoism in Shuanglin Temple, Master Fu built three clean rooms in the valley on the top of the mountain for the sake of tranquility of the six senses, as a place for Tibetan cultivation, and was named after Yunhuang Temple. After Tuas passed away, some of his ashes were buried in this tower. Standing next to the tower, looking around, I can see the shadows of green pines in the mountains, green bamboo and jade standing, ancient Yunhuang temples, yellow walls and green tiles, all quiet; The golden wall of the Daxiong Palace is brilliant... Yunhuang Mountain's natural scenery is pleasant and full of interest, and you have a panoramic view.
