Presidio of San Francisco

The fortress park is not far from the Golden Gate Bridge. The park has a large grassy area, which is very beautiful. It used to be a military place and was only opened to the public later. You can also overlook the Golden Gate Bridge.

There are restaurants, nature trails, three museums (Military History, Gold Rush History, and Disney) and a very attractive hotel in the old BOQ. The whole area is very friendly to children and pets!
