The Ruiguang Golden Pagoda, also known as the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon or the Shwedagon Pagoda, is 98 meters high. There are 4 middle towers and 64 small towers around, which are magnificent. The Buddha is dedicated to the remains of four Buddhas, including the eight hairs of the Buddha Sakyamuni, and thus it is the most sacred pagoda in Myanmar. The Shwedagon Pagoda in Myanmar, together with the Borobudur Tower in Indonesia and Angkor Wat in Cambodia, is known as the “Three Great Monuments in Southeast Asia”. When you enter the pagoda, you should pay attention to your attire. Avoid wearing more exposed vests, etc., and keep quiet in the temple. Opening hours: 4:00-22:00, 21:45 stop admission. It is open all day every day for two days, one day before the full moon day of the Burmese lunar calendar Tabaung month (around March), the day before the full moon day of the Burmese lunar month Wakhaung month (about June, the beginning of the Buddhist Lent). Tickets 10,000 Kia or 10 USD
