The oldest colonial bar in yangon. Very laid back and posh atmosphere. The walls are covered in colonial age artwork and paintings of old yangon. There is also a pool table. Drinks run about 7/8$ each for a cocktail, and the several that we had the chance to try were all devine.  Highly reccomended.

The Yangon Restaurant located in 1 People&#39;s Park Compound, Alhone Road, Dagon Township, Yangon, Yangon (Rangoon) 11181, Myanmar, Yangon restaurant is underrated. In my opinion, the food is about food, atmosphere and service. All 3 points from the restaurant are incredible. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the food was incredible and the live guitar/piano music created a beautiful atmosphere.

This place was one of the best authentic burmese restaurant in down. You can get most of the burmese food there and should also go to its sister restaurant called Buthee restaurant.

Ok, some dishes are really not used to eating, but some are still acceptable, I think there is a kind of spiced leaves fried shredded pork is not bad, is my favorite to eat, snacks can also.

The evaluation is very high, but I personally think that it is because of his foundation and this concept to help poor children, so the personal attention to the dishes is naturally less, the juice is a bit expensive, and several dishes are out of stock. The location is a bit remote, the dining environment is very good.

Very good taste, local characteristics of Myanmar, worth a try

If you have to choose to visit only ONE bar while you in Yangon for a real cocktail and fine atmosphere, make it Sarkies.
