National Park
Capt.Dell_A380The land was originally used by Indigenous peoples for thousands of years before British Columbia was colonized by the British during the 1858 Fraser Canyon Gold Rush and was one of the first areas to be explored in the city. For many years after colonization, the future park with its abundant resources would also be home to non-Indigenous settlers.The land was later turned into Vancouver's first park when the city incorporated in 1886. It was named after Lord Stanley, 16th Earl of Derby, a British politician who had recently been appointed Governor General. It was originally known as Coal Peninsula and was set aside for military fortifications to guard the entrance to Vancouver harbour. In 1886 Vancouver city council successfully sought a lease of the park which was granted for $1 per year. In September 1888 Lord Stanley opened the park in his name.

E38***43Canada Place was a fun place to visit. There were so many things to see and do. We were lucky to be there during an anime cosplay expo. We're able to interact with cosplayers and ask them for a photo. It's definitely worth visiting!

爱好和平The Lighthouse Park in Metro Vancouver is located in West Vancouver, far away from downtown Vancouver. Take the 250 road to Horseshoe Bay at w Georgia St (expo line station) in downtown Vancouver. 42 stops on the bus will do. Because the road is far away, most people don't know how to take a bus. They drive there by themselves. I don't have a car because I'm traveling, and I don't even think about renting a car by myself. The 250 bus arrived at the area close to the Lighthouse Park. It felt quite sparsely populated, like wild mountains and ridges. It was a bit scary. However, this may be the psychology of the Chinese. There are few Canadians, so they are not surprised. After getting off the bus, walk for a section of the road, there will be a lighthouse park sign along the way. Later, when entering the park, the road is gravel and dirt. Before I set off, the leather shoes were polished and the shoes were gray and white, so I went Leather shoes must not be worn in this park. This park is a virgin forest. The park is not the same as other parks in Vancouver. In addition to the towering trees, there are many big rocks, very hard. The park has no grassweeds. After all, it is a virgin forest, just a park. There are trails in there. Follow the trail through the virgin forest and you can see the lighthouse until you reach the sea. You can view the lighthouse from different places. So the play time is very short. There are also city sightseeing spots in the park, and you can see most of Vancouver's city scenery from designated locations. If you have time, it is okay to drive with a friend to take a look.
