Newcomers to Vancouver will find Yaletown a great base from which to visit many of the sights in downtown Vancouver. While Stanley Park and Burrard Inlet might be some distance away, I find I can walk...

Yaletown is an excellent Hop On Hop Off area to stop. There are a lot of different restaurants from which to choose. It is a beautiful area with residential and shops.
No outing to Vancouver is finished without a visit to Yaletown, North America's quickest developing residential downtown. This stylish neighborhood, which is comprised of thickly stuffed skyscraper apartment suites and changed over distribution centers, is home to a portion of Vancouver's most prominent eateries, bars, night clubs and shopping boutiques. In the middle of eating, drinking and shopping, set aside a few minutes to visit the Roundhouse Community Centre, which was at one time the Canadian Pacific Railway's western end. You can see the primary traveler train to enter Vancouver, Engine 374. The Roadhouse is presently an enthusiastic community center that is devoted to arts and learning.
Top notch food and drink a short aquabus ride from our home!
This area is full of trendy restaurants and little shops with a cool industrial look similar to Tribeca in NY
A great place to grab some food when you're looking for something new to eat.
It use to be a warehouse area with nothing really. Since the late 90s it has been developed to restaurants, residential, parks, stores. The heritage buildings you see brings a small community and tight community together.
Really liked Yaletown as it was so different from the rest of the neighbourhoods of Vancouver
