You know what’s kind of crazy? Up until now, I’ve never visited the Vancouver Lookout. Despite being in the city countless times, despite visiting the Harbour Centre and Top of Vancouver Restaurant co...
No lines with a quick dizzying ride in an elevator with a glass door. Loved the different vantage points as you move around the observation deck. You can see forever up there. We ended up with a be...

It takes just 40 seconds to reach the top of BC’s tallest building, the Harbour Centre. It’s here, approximately 168 meters above street level, where visitors can witness 360-degree views of the city from the Vancouver Lookout. During its official opening on August 13, 1977, Neil Armstrong was present to imprint his foot into cement in consecration of the building, a skill he no doubt mastered after his moon landing less than a decade prior.

Vancouver Lookout very nice and very addictive!
Beautiful view of Vancouver, gas town with lots of shops and pubs. Great city. At the look out ticket is good for all day. Must see the city at night
Best view of Vancouver and surrounds. To the north and east, you can see the mountains (ski slopes), to the west you can see the English Bay and Salish Sea, to the south the rest of Vancouver.
Superb location for snapping some photos of the Vancouver train tracks and the docks. On a nice sunny day this is probably one of the less appreciated locations. There is a small beach and It also has a great view of the downtown skyline and the mountains towards the north.
I try to visit a city's lookout when I first arrive, and on a clear day you can see beyond Burnaby all the way to Mt Washington. You also get a great view of the North Vancouver and the coastal mountain range, then looking out towards False Creek. A good place to get your bearings!
