    More opened stores and market

We came to Granville Island in a Monday before but most shops we're closed. This time we were there on a Thursday. The market had many shops open with a good variety.

    Food Market

I love this place, it reminds me of a mall but with food! There is places to sit and enjoy or walk around. There is traffic here, so come early. The food is good.

A Great Place to Visit in Vancouver and Free Parking for Now.

I love the public market in Granville Island with good bakeries, donuts place, tea shop, and deli. Granville Island is a must-visit if this is your first visit to Vancouver.

    Different during COVID

It was nice to see something different but it is different when it is less busy. Not a lot of places to sit inside, rightfully so, so better pick a day you can sit outside and enjoy some of the food. ...

Additional Information

Introduction

Granville Island, located on the edge of downtown Vancouver, was formerly an industrial zone peninsula, with abandoned railway buildings all over the streets and lanes. It has been refurbished to create a new look and is full of modern art. You can go to the gallery to watch the production of art, go shopping in the public market, enjoy the cool children's fun in the children's water park, sit down on the bench in the open-air park or watch the performances of one or two street performers.
