【Tottori, Japan】The Tottori Sand Dunes and The Sand Museum: A Marvel of Nature and Sculpture.
When mentioning Tottori, Japan🇯🇵, many people think of the Tottori Sand Dunes, whose appearance changes dramatically with the light and wind🌅. Besides the dunes themselves, the nearby Sand Museum is not to be missed.
The Sand Museum presents sculptures made of sand and has 'World Travel'✈️ as its theme, regularly producing exhibitions on different themes. When I visited, there happened to be an exhibition themed on Egypt🇪🇬, and what better way to showcase Egyptian culture than with sand sculptures? As soon as I entered the main exhibition space, I felt as if I was in the mysterious world of Egypt. The sculptures, carved with incredible skill, vividly displayed the splendor of ancient Egyptian civilization, with pyramids, pharaohs, and statues of Egyptian artifacts so lifelike they almost seemed real, leaving me in awe.
After leaving the museum, I headed to the nearby Tottori Sand Dunes, the largest dune formation in Japan🌵. Standing on the dunes, I was overwhelmed by the boundless desert landscape. The shape and texture of the dunes changed colors with the sunlight. Climbing up to the 'Horseback' dunes🏜️, I could overlook the surrounding beauty, with the endless Sea of Japan stretching out before me, a truly magnificent sight.
Of course, when in Tottori, one must not miss the famous seafood🐟🦐🐙🦑. There are also several Japanese restaurants near the Tottori Sand Dunes that specialize in seafood, perfect for exploring after climbing the dunes.

What is Japan like here?“Tottori Sand Dunes” is a place where you can feel a little unbelievable otherworldly feeling. From the moment you climb the stairs from the visitor center and stand at the top, the world of sand and sea spreads out before you.The small shadows are other tourists, but I can't grasp the perspective, and I get the illusion that they exist far away (actually, they're not that far).If the wind blows, the sand will fly and sand may accumulate in the pockets of your shoes and clothes, so we recommend wearing boots and clothes that can be closed.Every time the wind blows, wind ripples are created and the footprints disappear.I thought the best view was in the evening when the sun was setting. One side is dyed orange, as if you are in a desert somewhere. It was really nice that it was sunny when we visited. Also, if you go first thing in the morning, you will see sand dunes with only wind ripples and no footprints.
Really good, endless feeling, and then buried 𠮶 the side is more rural, so the air is so fresh, looking at the dunes, looking at the blue sky and white clouds, looking at the sea, there is a feeling of relaxation and joy, it is worth the same couple, or take the buried children to go
This time I purchased the JR Kansai Guangyu Railway travel coupon for the 5th to Tottori Mitsubishi Tour. Tottori Sasaki is the second tour. There is a Tottori special car outside Tottori Station. Shaqi can buy 200 rubber shoe covers without entering the sand, there are two choices, the sand is beautiful, the beach and beautiful sea view can be seen from the highest point, there are many paid things in the sand, sandboarding, parachuting, ATV, sand yoga, etc. 👆👍
[View] So beautiful [Fun] Very interesting [Cost-effective] Very high
No desert sand, artificial nature, this is the dunes of Tottori! Every year, there is a sand dunes exposition, every year a theme, with sand to create art! Tottori City, every year spend a lot of energy to maintain the stability of the dunes!
