I didn’t know that France also gifted a Statue of Liberty to Japan so this was a pleasant surprise. When the sun was setting the view was just astonishing ✨🌃Jocelyn8

The Odaiba Statue of Liberty is a large replica of the iconic Statue of Liberty in New York City. Located in Odaiba Seaside Park, the replica statue stands roughly 12.2 m, making it approximately 1/7 the size of the actual statue in New York Harbor. Due to it being set close to a pedestrian walkway and with the Rainbow Bridge in the background, the Odaiba Statue of Liberty gives the impression of being just as large as the original. Erected initially as a tribute to Japan’s ties with France (which gave the actual Statue of Liberty to the United States in 1886), the replica became enormously popular and thus a permanent fixture in Odaiba Seaside Park.
