🌸💫🌃 Although I've already enjoyed plenty of cherry blossoms in various parks during this period, I was still stunned by the magnificent view when I arrived at Meguro River! The entire riverside was filled with blooming cherry blossoms, with the lights and the reflection on the water blending perfectly, it was simply too beautiful! Worth a visit, and the photos taken can be considered works of art haha📸🎨 Despite the crowd, there was no pressure to take photos. Just wait a minute or two for the people in front to leave, and you can take pictures freely. One of the best spots to capture cherry blossoms is at Meguro River in Tokyo.

Meguro River is 2km long, so you can get there by a lot of train stops. Get off at Nakmeguro for food and shopping. There are a lot of shops and eateries lining the canal here, and the trees line the river with their branches hanging over the river. The Meguro River illuminations are nearer the Osaki and Golanda train stations. This is interesting spot for Sakura blossom viewing. I was there when the blossom was just opening up. Nevertheless it was already really crowded with Sakura viewers. I choose to start from the very beginning, close Meguro Yamanote station, so it took me some time before I reached the Naka Meguro station area which can be considered as the centre point of all (Sakura) activities. It was nice walk alongside the Meguro river gradually becoming busier and busier. Great location during Sakura season. #givethanks #givethanks
