It is enshrined at the end of the alley from the main street of Kuranomachi to the east. It is said that it was enshrined in Tochigi Castle by soliciting Amaterasu Omikami from Ise Jingu in the mid-Muromachi period, and it was worshiped by Mr. Minagawa, the Lord of Shimotsuke Province, and was eventually relocated to its current location. It is the general guardian of Tochigi City. In the precincts, there are Shinkoko, the musical hall, the main shrine with magnificent cherry trees in the back of the hall of worship, and multiple precincts.
