Along the northwestern point of Africa, is the Caves of Hercules which is an archaeological cave complex located in Cape Spartel, 14 kilometers west of Tangier, Morocco.
The cave has two openings, one to the sea and one to the land. The sea opening is known as " The Map of Africa", because there is a crack in the rock that resembles the outline of Africa. The cave itself is part natural and part man-made. The man-made part was used by Berber people to cut stone wheels from the walls. The lighting system, a feature of the latest restoration project, produces pleasant tones and contrasts.
The caves were opened to the public in 1920, and declared as a National Heritage site in 1952.
I am watching the sea in Morocco, strolling through the port city of Tangier
Tangier is a port city in northern Morocco, from the port of Tangier by ferry to Gibraltar, across the sea from Spain. Because it is close to Europe, the city's buildings are more European, and the new towns are full of high-rise buildings, cars and cars, a boom. Tangier has the most fascinating coastline and walks along the long coastline, and you seem to never come to an end.
This city has once again subverted my perception of North Africa. It turns out that Africa can be like this. It can be very European.

Spatel Point stands a yellow lighthouse, the lighthouse faces a vast The vast ocean. But this lighthouse has a special feature: it is the Atlantic Ocean to the west and the Mediterranean Sea to the east. When the weather is fine, the tower is far away, and you can clearly see the two different shades of seawater at the border between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. It is bounded by a lighthouse, with the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Mediterranean Sea on the other, and the Strait of Gibraltar on the other side. It is the most northwest corner of the African continent. It is also called the African Horn and is the closest place to Europe. high lighthouse faces the vast expanse of the Atlantic Ocean. At night, the top of the tower is brightly lit, and the vessels must adjust the course accordingly.
2The full version of the map of Africa - Africa Cave
African Cave The magical thing is that the contour of the hole looks like a full version of the African map. I heard that it has been a wave for thousands of years. The impact cave is naturally formed, so it is called the African Cave, and the waves of the waves will make some strange sounds.
This cave has a history of 4,000 years and is naturally formed by waves hitting rocks for thousands of years. Therefore, the Hercules cave is also called the "hole of Africa." Hercules is a Hercules in ancient Greek mythology, so it is also called "Hercules Cave". The left part of the

Tangier Old Town Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
Tangier's Old Town in Winter: A Hidden Gem
If you're looking for a unique winter travel destination, look no further than Tangier's Old Town. This Moroccan gem is often overlooked by tourists in favor of the country's more popular cities, but it's a hidden treasure just waiting to be explored.
In the winter months, the streets are less crowded, the temperatures are mild, and the traditional architecture is beautifully accented by the crisp winter light. As you wander through the maze of alleyways, you'll discover hidden squares, ornate doorways, and colorful tilework that's been well-preserved over the centuries.
One of the best things about visiting Tangier's Old Town in the winter is that you'll have the opportunity to experience local life without the crowds. You can stop for a nice Moroccan meal in a cozy cafe, browse the colorful souks for unique souvenirs, and even strike up a conversation with friendly locals. And if you're lucky enough to be there during a winter festival, you'll be treated to traditional music, dance, and street performances that showcase the vibrant culture of Tangier.
Of course, no visit to Tangier's Old Town would be complete without a visit to the Kasbah. This historic fortress is perched on a hilltop overlooking the sea, and it offers stunning views of the city and beyond. Inside, you'll find a small museum dedicated to Moroccan history and culture, as well as a peaceful garden where you can relax and take in the surroundings.
Morocco's former international city
Tangier is one of Morocco's northern most city and as such its past and culture is deeply shaped by not only its own country but by its next door neighbor, Spain, which you literally can stare across at. Because of its strategic position, it was once perhaps one of the most international cities in Morocco and one that has left a lasting mark on this cute little city. This being said, the city is also blessed with lovely sea views.
Today, its historic center, the Medina, is a lovely maze of old narrow streets that blend Moroccan and several other international styles. The whitewashed buildings that line the historic quarter make for lovely photos and is a lovely place to spend a morning or afternoon discovering the rich past of this city.
There is also a souk which is an incredible place to see the daily lives of Moroccans. This is a more traditional part of the city that has kept it's distinct identity. You'll find plenty of markets and cafes that are interesting to visit.
The city also has a very cosmopolitan feel to it with the many hotels and malls that line the area surrounding the train station.
A wonderful city that is great to explore. You'll be rewarded with a lovely white colored historic center with various souks. Whereas if you want something more modern, there are also malls and modern hotels. #city #travel #explore #tangier #morocco

Colorful and lively town of Asilah, Tangier, Morocco.
Tangier is the third largest city in Morocco, facing the sea. The famous attraction Cap Spartel Lighthouse marks the boundary between the Atlantic Ocean on the left and the Strait of Gibraltar and the Mediterranean Sea on the right, known as the "end of the world" in the northwest of the African continent. Another major attraction is the town of Asilah. You can take a train from Rabat to Tangier. In Tangier, we rented a car to visit the lighthouse and Asilah for a day.
Visiting the seaside town of Aixira is like stepping into a fairy tale world, with a feeling of walking into a painting. Artists paint on the streets and walls of residential buildings, with vivid works including abstract paintings, portraits, cartoons, and many related to daily life. The small stalls on the street are also decorated with artistic flair. The locals are friendly and enthusiastic, some even performing on the street. Unlike the old city, Aixira is clean, bright, and colorful. It is a place where you can take endless photos, but remember to leave a tip when watching local performances or taking pictures.
Asilah is suitable for half-day sightseeing, and with plenty of time, you can dine at seaside cafes or restaurants.
Donabo Gardens a Gem of the North
Donabo Gardens is a joint project to create a beautiful public gardens for the people of Tangier and it's many visitors to enjoy . To have school projects for children to be able to learn about growing vegetables and experience the joys of gardening , have a wonderful Organic lunch in the gardens cafe and visit the many themed gardens they are creating.

Hilton Tanger City Center Hotel & Residences Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
Hilton Tanger City Center Hotel
#wheretogo I can't say enough about my recent stay at the Hilton Tanger City Center Hotel – it was absolutely fantastic!
From the moment I walked in for check-in to the bittersweet check-out, everything was smooth sailing. The hotel itself was not only impeccably clean but also impressively designed with attention to the little details that make a big difference.
Let's talk about those amenities, though. The pool? Oh, it was a thing of beauty, and watching the sunset from there was like icing on the cake. And don't even get me started on the fitness center – top-notch.
But you know what truly stole the show? The customer service. These folks were on another level. They weren't just professional; they were genuinely friendly and always ready with a smile. It's like they could read my mind, anticipating my needs before I even knew I had them.
Plus, the hotel's smack dab in the heart of the city, making it super convenient for exploring. And the extra perks and amenities added that touch of luxury that made my stay truly memorable.
In a nutshell, my time at the Hilton Tanger City Center Hotel was a delightful surprise. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and squeaky clean. The outstanding service and central location made it the perfect choice for a great stay. If you're looking for an awesome experience, this hotel is definitely the way to go.#freehotelstay
Jardin de Majorelle Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Mar)
Jardin Majorelle museum in Marrakech
One of the prominent places to visit in Marrakech is the Jardin Majorelle garden and museum. I spent about 1.5-2 hours here with my friends, taking lots of pictures and taking our time to enjoy the view and beautiful blue house which is the highlight of the place.
The Jardin Majorelle is also near the YSL museum (yes, you see it right, it’s the Yves Saint Laurent museum). According to a friend, Marrakech was YSL’s founder favourite vacation place hence he built his museum there.
The Jardin Majorelle and YSL museum go hand in hand are a short walk away from each other so definitely pay a visit to both when you are in the vicinity.
I would recommend taking a car or cab instead of public transport since it can be quite hectic to get around.
