Taipei 101 Building is located in Taipei’s Xinyi District. It is composed of 14 companies from Taiwan Province of China. The Taipei Financial Building Co. Ltd, together with the professional team outside the island was planned by international architects. Li Zuyuan and Wang Chongping jointly designed the traditional Chinese auspicious number “8” (harmony) as the design unit. Each of the eight floors is a structural unit that is connected to each other and stacked on top of each other to form a whole. Taipei 101 was the world’s tallest building before 2010 (508 meters). It is currently ranked fifth in the world’s top ten buildings.
