Well kept house in lovely condition and well worth a visit, there are statues and monuments of Checkhov all over the city

Staff removed rope barriers to let us sit and take pictures at various items of furniture. Not normally done but the member of staff knew we were tourists and it was New Years Eve. Don't know her name...
