Suramadu National Bridge

The Suramadu National Bridge is a bridge that crosses the Madura Strait, connecting Java Island (in Surabaya) and Madura Island (in Bangkalan, east of Kamal to be exact), Indonesia. With a length of 5,438 m, this bridge is currently the longest bridge in Indonesia. The Suramadu Bridge consists of three parts, namely the flyover (causeway), the connecting bridge (approach bridge), and the main bridge (main bridge).

After reading so many reviews, few people say the origin of the bridge. The bridge is 5438 meters long. The main bridge and approach bridge with a total length of 2162 meters are designed and constructed by the Chinese contractor consortium, in which the main bridge is constructed by the Chinese contractor consortium and the approach bridge is constructed by the Indonesian subcontractor. The contract price of the project is 190 million US dollars, of which 90 [%] is provided by the Chinese government with buyer's credit.
