With the summer months starting in September in South Africa. The perfect weekend away spent at Sun City was much needed. The Lost City golf course offers amazing views and the Valley of The Waves Water Park provides some excellent activities for the kids and adults. There is a casino as well for some night time activities. Well worth it! #funinthesun #southafrica #suncity

South Africa Sun City Palace Hotel
The Palace Hotel in Sun City, South Africa is really beautiful, and the rooms are also very spacious. The quality of the hotel's restaurant is very good, and the price is much cheaper than the Western restaurants in domestic five-star hotels. It's worth a try!

A lifetime experience to brag about - South African Safari
Before I went to South Africa, Safari was always on my bucket list, just to see how animals roam freely in nature. A friend happened to be South African and invited us to travel to South Africa, so the national park was naturally on our itinerary.
We went to Pilanesberg National Park, the fourth largest national park in South Africa. It's much more convenient than Kruger, about a 3-hour drive from Johannesburg. We stayed at the Bakubung Bush Lodge in the national park, where my friend used to vacation with his family.
I highly recommend this resort! It offers safari tours and hot air balloon tours. The dining area is in the national park, surrounded by wire mesh. Often while eating, you can see elephants and giraffes leisurely walking over. The park has its own Spa, which is affordable and has a great environment. There are also nightly barbecues and unique local performances.
We stayed for four days, two days with the park tour, and two days driving ourselves. Overall, I recommend self-driving. The tour vehicles are larger and louder, so some animals won't approach easily. When self-driving, you can explore at your own pace and see almost all the animals. In addition to elephants, rhinos, hippos, giraffes, antelopes, etc., we even saw the rare sight of hyenas and leopards hunting antelopes. If you visit the park, I suggest trying different times of day, as you can often see more at dusk and dawn.
The most thrilling experience was one evening when we were planning to drive out of the park and ran into a family of lions. First, two lionesses with three cubs. We immediately turned off the car and didn't dare to move. The lionesses walked up to our car and looked in the window. The moment of eye contact, you really feel a reverence for nature. That wild look, treating you as prey, can instantly shatter your self-proclaimed position at the top of the food chain. After about 5 minutes of standoff, night had completely fallen, and a male lion emerged from the darkness. The majesty really made people fully understand their title as the king of the jungle. We wanted to take pictures with our phones but didn't dare to make too much movement. There were no lights around, only our car lights. The male lion circled our car twice, almost getting on the car door, and then leisurely walked past us, leading his family away. It was truly a memory to last a lifetime.
📝Tips:
1. Bring a telescope, as many hunting scenes can't get too close, and the telescope can let you clearly see the whole process.
2. When self-driving, you can roll down the windows but lock the car doors. There have been news of lions opening car doors before. If a beast approaches, roll up the windows and turn off the car as soon as possible.
3. If you see several cars stopping in the park, don't ask, just stop and observe the surroundings. There must be an exciting scene to watch.

The Safari Drive At Pilanesberg National Park
#safari #safaripark #safariworld #southafrica #africa #pilanesburg #animal #wildlife #wildlifesafari #adventure #mustvisit #amazing
Nothing is complete without visit one of the safaris in south africa. And what will make it perfect is the game drive out into the national park. You can either drive your own vehicle or seat one of this HUGE elevated jeeps and drive around the entire safari where pilanesberg is the 2nd most visited national park in africa after kurger national park.
In these drives, more often you have to have some luck to see the animals and if your luck is pretty good you will meet the big 5s, elephants, lion, giraffe, rhino and and buffalo. For me we only manage to see 3 of the Big 5 and came up really close with the rhinos with the amazing sunset at the back.
This is one experience everyone will dream off, the experience is somewhat watching national geographic but with you inside. So thrilling and exciting. just WOW!
A Safari Staycation At Pilanesburg Safari
#hotelstaycation #safari #pilanesburg #southafrica #johannesburg #ivorytree #nationalpark #tripblazers
One amazing staycation is to be staying in the safari in South africa. One of which is the Ivory Tree located at the Pilanesburg National Park. Am amazing lodge situated at the tip of pilanesburg game reserve where you are able to enjoy the quietness in the night and if you are lucky, you will be able to hear to loud lion roar just beside your accommodation.
This is also a romantic staycation due to its huge jacuzzi in the bathroom, an outdoor shower and also a huge balcony right in the wilderness. This is one staycation you have to do in your lifetime!

SUNCITY CAMP-Desert side
Also at suncity ,We had an amazing experiance riding the camels and watching sunset. There is camel rides and hot air balloon a d i enjoyed the desert drive. Extraordinarily beautiful desert area with amazing mountain and rock formations.Tents are well situated to look out on to an uninterrupted desert view and, while simple, have good aircon, en-suite and comfortable bed. Great Jeep drive through the desert to watch the sunset and excellent dinner slow cooked underground. Really worth going there. Went to an interesting astronomy talk with telescope viewing of Saturn and Jupiter after dinner at site nearby.
